Vacation time-Montenegro

Mir, tišina i neverovatna priroda.

Over the years, I found a way to travel without worry, how to pack everything I need and organize so that I have time for everything. And so on days before departure, I think what I'm going to do, what will I wear and what will I bring. However, when it comes to Montenegro, I have created some rituals. Last 2 years I spend my vacation in the Bay of Kotor so I'm crossing the border at Jabuka and I stop to rest on Durmitor. You may not believe it, but my favorite part of the holiday is the sunrise on Black Lake in Zabljak. Peace, silence and incredible nature. Anyone who read "The Shack" by William P. Young will understand why I like this lake so much. What you need to know if you want to visit the lake is that the entrance is charged 3e per person, and 2e for parking. In any case, it's shame to go there and not visit it.

Like last year, I rented an apartment in Basici, a beautiful little village near Herceg Novi. I used to spend mornings on the beach in Baošići, while in the evening I would visit some of the cities in the Bay of Kotor. Most often, I would go to Herceg Novi, not only because it is the closest, but also because it is my favorite. No matter how hard it is to climb 100,001 steps, it's worth the effort. What I noticed and what I really liked is that most of their wooden windows on stone houses paint in the desired way and thus prevents pvc windows from damaging the beauty and history of those cities.

Until next time,
